Yoga is one of the only approaches to health that assists in keeping your body healthy, strong, and flexible while simultaneously providing mental clarity and emotional well-being. Available to any level of experience, we combine ancient tradition with innovation. We recognize that everybody is different, and every Body is different. Classes are taught with a beginner in mind, yet are challenging enough for the advanced student. Yoga's intention is to provide a safe, loving environment where each individual can explore the dynamics of the asana within their own mind, body, spirit, mental and emotional bodies. Our philosophy: Limitation in one's posture alignment should be acknowledge and honored. Non-competition and non-judgement, with oneself is important. Patience should be cultivated in the postures, and a student should allow the body to open slowly and postures worked up to gradually. The body and its limitations should be worked with, and never against. A yoga pose should only be done as far as one can hold the proper form and alignment in the whole body. No two people will do the pose, or experience the pose, the same way. Yoga will take each individual in a different direction. Each body is distinct and each individual has had separate life experiences that have shaped them into who they are ~ Physically, mentally and spiritually.

Find Your Center...
Yoga is for everyone. If you show up, breath, and try your best, you'll notice immediate benefits. All classes are encouraging and supportive. We respect all yoga traditions and encourage you to try out / play with as many traditions of yoga as you can. One can never have to much practice or knowledge. After all, that is how one becomes a very well rounded individual.
All instructors create a safe space for exploration, and are able to adapt the practices to suit any individual at any skill level. We work with the subtler aspects of the body, mind, energy and emotion. You will learn not only how to stretch your hamstrings, but what. or who, is causing the tight muscle/imbalance. You will find your center, and begin to move with more ease and grace through your daily life. We are aware of and respect, the many different reasons people come to yoga, and the challenges they may bring with them. However you want to explore/experience the practices of yoga, you will find support, encouragement, guidance...and a lot of fun.
All instructors are here to help inspire both you and your practice. Since each person / teacher is different, we encourage you do come try a variety of classes. Everyone is highly trained and all share a deep love and respect for the practice of yoga, and are graduates of a Yoga Alliance-approved Teacher Training program as well as Continuing Education training. Our instructors not only demonstrate a firm knowledge of anatomy, yoga and yoga philosophy, but all maintain friendly and understanding demeanors as well. Our Teachers are not here to judge or push you; they are here to support you on your journey.
